Hanging by a thread

A million sensations rush through my body and I nearly lose my focus he wraps the rope around my chest, so tight, so inescapable, like a bittersweet sentence. My lips are dry as I kneel down, leaning into the first tie, hanging by a thread of jute to somewhere above, anywhere, but so safe… I close my eyes and lean more, my whole weight denying itself, my body and mind defying gravity so beautifully. I spin and spin and play around the rope until the grip on my hands become painful… then I spin some more…
